Bangladesh taka voted most beautiful bank note

Bangladesh 2 taka note was voted 1st among the most beautiful bank note's worldwide, according to a poll at Russian online entertainment outlet. The runner up was Sao Tome & Principe's 50 thousand Debra, followed by 1  Bahamian dollar and 5 Bahrain dinners.

5th position was voted to Georgia's 10 Lari note. 6-10th position was voted to 10Hong Kong  dollars, 10 Cook Islands Dollars, 50 Israeli Shekels, 20 thousand Island Krona note, 50 Faeroe Islands Kronurs.

New Zealand, Romania, Singapore, Comoros, French Polynesia, Switzerland, Sweden,  Jamaica and Japan were voted 11-20th.

Bangladesh 2 Taka was issued on 29 December 1988. The note is 100 millimeters long and 60 millimeters wide. In the obverse of the note picture is Shaheed Minar, a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate those killed during the Bengali Language Movement demonstrations of 1952.

In the reverse of 2 taka note, there is National Bird Doyel, distinctive black and white birds with a long tail that is hold upright as they forage on the ground or perch conspicuously, Doyels are common across most of the Indian Sub-continent and con bird in urban gardens as well as forests. They are famous for their song. If 2 taka note are recognizable, they can be exchanged easily, no matter what the bad situation of it is.

The main colors of  2 taka note are orange and green and the language written in the note in Bangla. It's a great achievement for Bangladesh.
